we got married eps 20 080727

with one comment

not an amazing episode… kinda poorly edited again imo -0- Again…spoilers + Recap of my fave scenes

Um..seriously do they really need a new mc? Honestly I think the first 3 were fine o.o I dunno why but Kim Won Hee left the show and I guess it’s good to have another female mc but honestly it’s getting kinda ridiculous & crowded. It’s like ysmm 2 who needs that many ppl there? It’s not like Park Myung Soo even has anything useful to say -0-

Solbi’s IQ Revealed

without comments

“Once you get to know me, I’m a smart girl.” says Solbi. I’ve heard that one…a lot …in a lot of different show programs. But I guess she finally got sick of being thought of as dumb. And now there’s proof. On Yuh Yoo Man Man, which is airing today in Korea, Solbi’s IQ is revealed to be a stunning 136. Now I don’t know about y’all but honestly that doesn’t mean that much to me. All I know about IQ’s is that double digits means you’re stupid and I always thought it was out of 200 but I’m not too sure about that. So I got curious and looked it up and condensed the info for you guys ^^

IQ stands for intelligence quotient. Theoretically 100 is average IQ for the US. In South Korea, the average IQ seems to be around 106. Well in Asian countries the IQ was more around 105, something about Chinese characters adding 5 points to your IQ lol Half the population is in the 90-110 range and although in theory IQ could be be anywhere on the scale, it typically does not range below 50 or above 150. Generally if you have an IQ over 130+ then you’re considered to be brighter than 98% of the population (although in Korea, it seems to be 140+) Supposedly if you’re in the top 2% then you can join an exclusive high IQ club called Mensa.

Personally, I never thought Solbi was that dumb but I seriously doubt she’s smarter than 98% of South Korea. O.O Anyways on the subject of stars’ IQ, here’s a few famous super smart Korean celebrities. And now you’ll know what the number’s mean. haha Of course, anytime IQ is mentioned, we cannot leave out Epik High’s Tablo. His IQ is said to be 180. True genius right there. Other honorable mentions are Jang Dong Gun, Kim Tae Hee, Kim Jung Hoon, Jung Jun Ha, & Park Jin Young, all rumored to have IQ’s over 140.

Solbi’s Real Sister Revealed

without comments

Solbi & Sis

Solbi & Sis

Solbi has a sister that looks unbelievably like Moon Geun Young. Solbi on “Yuh Yoo Man Man” on the 25th introduced her sister Kwon Soo Jung who is currently working in Thailand right now. Solbi’s mother spoke well of her sister saying that she’s a natural beauty and has always been pretty. Solbi’s sister was revealed to be 29 and came on the show without makeup, was described as “a tall Moon Geun Young” Solbi’s sister remarked that there was a lot of times that people didn’t believe she was Solbi’s sister and others when people said that they looked alike.

Personally, I think she looks more like MGY than she does Solbi haha I wonder if she’ll meet Andy? haha ^^ Better picture of her:

Lee Hyori’s Ideal Guy is Kim Rae Won

without comments

On Happy Together Season 3, when asked about her ideal guy she replied that “When I was young I looked at outward appearances but now I’m looking for someone who is as comfortable as a friend and is very understanding.”

She also talked about her biggest worry, “Right now the biggest concern for me is who and how I am going to marry.” In addition she mentioned “Up till now, it seems like the guys that I dated treated me not like a normal girl but as “Sexy Singer Lee Hyori. Now I want to meet someone who will see me exactly as I am.”

Then the MC’s asked “Is there a male celebrity that you like right now?” to which Hyori mentioned her sentiment for Kim Rae Won.

Lee Hyori & Kim Rae Won. Kinda weird. I’m guessing she’s following Gourmet with interest. It’s even more interesting that he’s 3 years younger than her o.o But yep I’m curious to who she’s going to marry also.

Just had to mention this, she’s sooo pretty and unbelievably gorgeous and also a horrible singer but I really wish MAC would use her as a model like they did for A-mei. I think she would pull it off really well and it would totally sell well too. Kinda random but I’m really super into makeup these days ^^;; and just looking at all her 3rd album pics gave me the idea ^^

Seo In Young – Cinderella

with 4 comments

So my mom loves seo in young cuz of we got married and I think she’s influencing me to like her also, considering I hated this girl when I first watched we got married. ^^;; And now she made her come back with her 2nd (mini) album/single Elly is Cinderella. And if I recall correctly, I believe her English name is Elly. But yeah did anyone else know that she had a first solo album in the first place? It was news to me. haha But despite going up against Lee Hyori’s comeback, she’s holding up her own for now but let’s see if it lasts.

Inevitable, going up against U-Go-Girl is going to strike up some comparison seeing as their both the sexy genre haha although I know that it’s not really a genre. Personally, I find SIY’s Cinderella a lot more catchier than LHR’s U-Go Girl, but then again I think SIY can sing a whole lot better than LHR, although in the K-pop industry that doesn’t count for much. The MV’s do have a few similarities with both having the turtle glasses and putting on makeup and transformation theme.

If I’m not mistaken, 2 of the Jewelry members make a special cameo as part of her shoe entourage. Her “babies” make a showing, which is cute considering the song is Cinderella and we know that she has her glass slippers, although I’m sure Cinderella’s shoes weren’t as glamorous as SIY’s. And of course her famous “A” makes an appearance. Although in the beginning I bet everybody wishes it was Crown J rather than whoever the heck that guy is. So before I spoil it all for you, here’s the MV:

Her M-Net Countdown Comeback Stage aired in Korea so I’ll update when I finish uploading to YouTube. Sorry it’s pretty crappy quality

Lee Jiah Transforms into a Violinist

with one comment

for Beethoven Virus…

Sujini Lee Jiah transformed into a violinist for the upcoming Wed/Thurs drama Beethoven Virus set to air 9/3 of this year. She is casted as the female lead, a violinist named Durumi. On the 14th at dawn they finished filming the first scene in the subway.

She looks gorgeous, I love her outfit. I’m wishing a video of this would pop up somewhere so I can see how much better at violin she is than jgs on the trumpet lol I can’t imagine she’ll be a lot worse ^^;;

Anyways, Kim Myung Min as Kang Ma Ae

I wonder how the drama will fare against Moon Geun Young-Park Shin Yang’s Painter of the Wind (Although I’m not sure that’s going to happen seeing as it still doesn’t seem to be set o.o)

New Moon Review

without comments

SPOILERS AHEAD

New Moon

New Moon

So I finally got around to reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyers, book 2 of the twilight series.

I like it. I enjoyed it more than I did the first one actually. I found the whole first book a little slow and not that interesting (except when she got attacked by the vampires) but I figured I would give the rest of the books a try because if nothing else, I wanted to see what would happen to the characters as well as see if it would get better.

I think seeing movie stills biased my view of Edward so I kept on imagining Robert Pattinson with all his white stage makeup face as Edwards which sorry to say didn’t really cut it for me. So I would recommend you to read the book or read it with your own version of Edward since that seemed to work better for people. Edward is not really in this book and that didn’t bother me but just a warning for you Edward fans.

So the story starts off with it being Bella’s birthday and she had this horrible nightmare that she got old and wrinkly while Edward stayed as perfect as he was (every woman’s nightmare). At her birthday party she gets hurt and starts bleeding and that causes all the Cullens to look at her with hunger and Edward blames it on himself and decides that it’s not safe for Bella and leaves her. And she becomes dysfunctional and depressed and that’s like 1/3 of the book. Then she thinks that danger will cause her to hear Edward’s voice and she decides to get a motorcycle which leads her to Jacob. Who to me was a totally lovable character. He’s basically the opposite of Edward – in every sense of the word – warm awkward sunny werewolf etc. Of course for some reason Bella seems to attract trouble and Victoria, James’ mate from Twilight, is on her trail thinking it more fair to kill Edward’s mate in exchange for killing hers. Although I was disappointed that she never made her appearance but I suppose she will make an appearance in the next book.

Jacob’s werewolf story comes as no surprise since even though he was in denial about their existence in the last book, the readers not so much. I mean is it that hard to believe that werewolves exist in a world that vampires do? Predictable but I found it a lot more engrossing than the vampire tale from twilight. I found Sam Uley’s story a little sad and I found him intriguing although almost all of the characters are pretty one-dimensional.

The ending, like in Twilight, was the most entertaining part of the book and I thought it was really intriguing how Bella was received by the Volterra so obviously she has some unknown power of her own. My favorite part of the book was Edward’s proposal. I thought it was cute. Overall the book held its own and I enjoyed Meyer’s humor.

I really want to read Midnight Sun because I feel like it would be a lot more fun. ^_^ I love different perspectives

Jang Geun Suk & Trumpet

with one comment

Haha “practicing” for Beethoven Virus… Honestly why did they choose the trumpet??? It’s not really that musshisuh…(no offense to any trumpet players out there) If anything I wish they chose piano (which is kinda overdone in dramas I guess) violin (which I guess Lee Jiah’s playing but hey if they were like rivals in violin that would spice things up lol) cello even… Well my personal preference would be to put Lee Jiah on the flute and JGS on electric violin. That would have been super hot. ^^ But no use crying over spilt milk I s’pose

Just cuz all this orchestra talk reminds me of this performance. ^^
